The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) on Hilton Head Island will close permanently Tuesday, December 20 at 5 p.m. The Hilton Head Island DRC is located at 1 Town Center Court. Beaufort County will begin 2nd pass on debris removal 12/5/16

Debris removers continue working throughout the area. Contractors estimate removal is about 90% complete from the first pass with the exception of the private communities which began on October 18. As of today, contractors have collected more than 750,000 cubic yards of storm-generated debris.
